Wallet & Payments

Payments & Wallet
We're building safe, simple payments for Makay.
Note: Makay is free to use today, and we aim to help Liberia move into the future of buying and selling online.
What to expect
- One wallet to pay and get paid, all in the app.
- Payments will be protected: your money will be held securely and released to the seller only once your order is delivered.
- We're planning a money-back guarantee for eligible orders.
- Clear pricing: the item price first, then any delivery and transaction fees, shown before you pay. No surprises.
What we encourage (starting today)
- Keep buying and selling on Makay as you do now. Post your goods, use voice and video, and connect with buyers and sellers.
- Make your listings count: each listing should cover a single item, with clear images, a video, and honest details about that item.
- Share Makay with friends and fellow buyers and sellers.
How it will work
- Set up your billing details.
- Buy now at the listed price, or send an offer with your amount.
- Your payment stays protected while the seller accepts and delivers.
- Confirm your delivery, and the seller gets paid.
